The Brother's follow, Frederick is watching the back, as beasts, more so monsters are smart like that. As Palid holds the lantern high in his shield arm, to try and do something to combat the darkness, much like Vellian, figuring the fancy outlander in platemail is probably their better in this.

A girl no older than twenty watched the group from the trees, hood covering her straight, pale brown hair, and vivid eyes glinting in pale moonlight. Her dyed brown linen clothes hid her well in the dark bark of the surrounding trees. She, too, had heard the beast's cry and was out to find what it was, already being armed and ready with her bow and arrows and her lucky dagger. But even so, being armed, she was cautious of anyone else, seeing their swords and armor. Being so, she still remained hidden, only her breath making any sound, it matching the breeze that followed her.

Vellian slowed down as the noise of extra feet came to her ears, smashing up the debris on the ground. She held her hand for everyone to wait, hoping that Aetherius would stop, as well.
"There's something out there.."
She drew her arming sword, the thing was a lifesaver against armored opponents, the blade well-crafted. Still, more noises came from outside sources.

Atherius continued his trek through the woods, humming softly to himself as he continued to follow the trail. His tune mixed in with the clanking and jingling coming from his own armor as they walked, giving way to a more musical travel rather then just being surrounded by ambiance alone. Though some might have taken this dark path as a foreboding sight, Atherius studied the beauty with in; like it was a masterfully crafted painting. His bright red lips curled at the thought, giving his humming a more melodic tune- beyond that of what it had previously been pitched to. He seemed unnaturally calm as they walked, though not unaware.
However, as Vellian motioned, so to did he stop and await her to continue. Turning to look around the woods, he nodded and stood stoicly.

The girl still watched them silently, but armed her bow at seeing them freeze. It was her own reaction to freeze if the person or thing she watched stood still.

The Brothers Stop, Palid dares with a breath, not quite as Bold as His brother to break formation and stand ahead of the pack of heroes as he circles them, to maximize the amount of coverage of light in the thicket.

The footsteps come even closer, and, reactively, Vellian throws a torch at one of the sources. Both a bad and good decision, as the loose twigs and leaves catch fire, but it reveals a man in leather armor, a wood buckler shield and steel axe in hand, who yells. Suddenly, five more men in similar equipment come out, surrounding the quadrat, preparing their weapons.
FIGHT: 4 v 6 (One of them is on fire and screaming.)
Vellian also takes out her shield, preparing a defensive position, putting her arming sword parallel to the shield so that she'd be prepared for them to strike.

Well the Forest is already on Fire, and Frederick finds himself be lost of an off hand. He reaches for Palid's hand as he was already reaching down to Clip the Lantern on his belt.
"Pardon me brother." As Frederck prepares for combat, Sword in main hand, Lantern for off hand weapon, that's gonna get ugly.
Palid on the other, tries to do a one man spear wall, to try and delay as a few of them as he can, to keep them from teaming up on the out numbered heroes, more fients and jabs hopping to keep two, maybe three at bay, long enough for the other super awesome people to finish theirs so they don't get flanked.

Atherius lifted his blade off of his shoulders and pointed it at the assailants. Hands firmly gripping the hilt as he stared them down with daggers in his eyes. Piercing and unrelenting, the blue orbs shining as the fire danced around. Rushing forwards, with the tip pointed outwards, he swiftly went for the man who was currently ablaze, attempting to impale him straight through. Safer then sorry! And whether they where hostile or not, the fact that they're in the woods was enough reason for free-game sword-slaying! Plus, making sure the man didn't put the fire out and come attacking or running off? Even better!

Well, the man who was on fire was killed swiftly and mercifully by Atherius, quite noble of him. However, there were still five others, and the one Vellian was facing charged at her. She quickly raised her steel buckler upwards and blocked the first strike, swinging with an attack of her own. The bandit successfully parried, but Vellian tried to push her advantage- a bit to hastily, as she was quickly disarmed. Panicking, she took out her dagger and raised it, her assailant making one fatal mistake; never put a blade in between the prongs of a trident dagger. She twisted it, quickly disarming him, before she kicked him in the family jewels, and shanked him through the eye.
The forest is still burning to the left of the group as the other four attackers surround the other three heroes. Two try a flanking assault on Palid, obviously not risking to put their stomachs in his spear, while two charge directly at Atherius, shields raised to defend from any blows that might come to them, holding their axes high into the air, past their shields.

Frederick goes to flow to get his brother's back, going to try and parry the man going for his brother's back and to, try and follow up on an opening to slice his arm a more... bloodily disarm, seeming to want to take one for questions at least.
Palid might not be as outgoingly directly bold as his brother, but he's got his own spark of heroing. As He Goes to take a knee lifting his shield to protect as much of his body as he can and lunge his arm out for the Charging Bandit's groin.

For Lordwisp:
Bandit 1 would hop back and start to circle Fredrick, waiting for an opening in his defenses, giving feints and strikes out every now and then. Finally, he tries for a jumping attack, bringing the axe overhead towards his skull.
Bandit 2 is stabbed in the groin unexpectedly, groaning in pain as the speartip pierced his precious bits, stunned.

Frederick, goes to try and side step the leap, figuring the man isn't a mage so he can't direct his trajectory with wind magic, going for a side step upper slice for his ax arm, clearly going to try and remove his upper forearm.
Palid goes to rise and try and push back, loosening his grip so his hand can slide up his spear's haft to try and get close enough to shield bash the man in the face!

Atherius chuckled beneath his helmet as he moved one leg back. Doing a quick twist, with the flaming man still impaled on his blade, he gave a quick swipe in the assaulter's direction. Even with their shields up, he opted to just throw the still flaming corpse of their companion right at them. If they'd be hit by it, he'd point his blade down towards the ground, bending his knees with his left hand placed beneath his blade, awaiting for them to continue their advance if they dared.

For Lordwisp:
Bandit 1, unlike the others, is much more skilled. He blocks the incoming strike with his shield, swinging his axe in retaliation, trying to place it upon Frederick's right arm.
Bandit 2, sadly, is not doing to well. Bleeding groin, stunned by pain, he is stunned even more by a shield bash, living in misery.
For Aetherius:
The fear of the flaming man really did wonders. They scattered like rats fleeing from a sinking ship across the forest, turning around.
Bandit 3 was not prepared for a Vellian strike to the back of the head, though, as his forehead was impaled completely by an arming sword stab.
Bandit 4, cornered on both sides by Vellian and Aetherius, decides to go for his original target, trying to hit him with an overhead swipe.
Who's left: Bandit 1(Frederick) Bandit 2(Palid) Bandit 4(Atherius)

Fredrick really was expecting at worse an unskilled thug hence his voice of armor, as he tries to side step taking a pretty hefty gash on his main arm he stumbles back, quickly slipping the lantern onto his belt, to take his blade in his off hand, just as deft with it there as any, as if he trains both hands. As He's trying to disarm the bandit of his Ax.
Palid Looks over, and calls out to his Brother in worry. Gaining a bit of Fire in his action, to try and quickly smack his bandit again with his shield, to try and leave him disoreinted enough to be a threat to try and rush to his brother's side.

Atherius pulled his blade higher up, with his palm pushing his blade upwards to defend from the overhead swing. With the clash of steel hurling down and being crashed into a ringing tune. Atherius hummed softly as he twisted his body, placing his blade by the back of the man's heel, between his legs, before pulling back in a small 180-degrees spin, gaining some distance as he attempted to leave a gash in the man's heel. He'd had his chuckles with throwing a burning corpse at the duo before! So, he thought Vellian should have her time to shine!

(Made a mistake there, woops.)
Bandit 1 is disarmed, not expecting Frederick's attack, while Bandit 2 is even more disoriented, dealing with blurry vision and a bleeding crotch. Ow.
Bandit 4, having his heels nearly removed by Atherius, is suddenly grabbed from behind by Vellian and thrown into the fire. She tosses her dagger at the opponent and it pierces through his hat. She retrieves her dagger from the fire before it is consumed like the burning bandit body.
Who's alive: Bandit 1:(Disarmed.) Bandit 2:(Disoriented, bleeding.)

Frederick goes to kick the ax across the dirt, as his Brother goes to kneel down pick it up and put it in his belt so the bandit can't rearm. As Frederick levels his blade at the man, right arm hanging half limp.
"Surrender, and you may just get the gaols and not the hangman's noose... or I can leave you to.. my fire happy companions."

Bandit 2 simply collapses, with a bad case of bleeding groin and a concussion.
Bandit 1 grins, shakes his head and hops back, turning around and making a hasty retreat.
Vellian looked around her, sheathed her sword, and shook her head.
"Well... that was interesting."
The fire was dying about as fast as it started, but it took about ten trees and a large patch of grass with it.
"Lets pick up on the trail, then?"
She dusted her hands, a smile spread across her face.
