"We sleep here."
He said that like a command, pointing his finger on the ground. Afterwards, he stood, leaning next to the walls of the cave, suddenly appearing petrified.

Triana glanedd to where he pointed before looking back at him, startled at his frozen appearance. "Nix'Xel...?" She said warily.

Nix'Xel slowly turned towards her.
"I am the watch. Sleep."
Then he went back to his normal position.

Blinks a few times before sitting on the rocky ground. She leaned against the cave wall, hugging her knees to her chest. She wasn't very thrilled about someone being in the same place she slept in, it not being as proper as she'd like, though she tried to at least rest her eyes.

Hours passed by, and soon came the sunrise. Nix'Xel was pacing around the cave, still awake, waiting for Triana.

Triana had only dozed now and then. She had barely slept, she was far from home, and traveling with a strange person. Wasn't the best thing ever. She slowly raised her head, squinting in the dim light at Nix'Xel. She got to her feet, brushing off her dress and straightening her hair. She had no clue what to expect for today considering what had happened the past day. She glanced to Nix'Xel. "...Bonjour."

Nix'Xel nodded and left the cave to keep moving onwards. The Aranid spoke no words back for a long time during the trek down the mountain, which was much easier than the trip going up. Finally, though, he had some dialogue.
"If you wondered what that was, it was cognitive rest. A technique used to allow one to sense things around themselves while restoring their energy and magic reserves."

Triana still had to be cautious of her steps, considering the trip was now going downhill. She glances up from the ground. "...Oh..." she said quietly. She couldn't relate to how that felt as she tried to imagine it.
